Manado Harbour

Manado Harbor (Dec, 2016)

One of the important place in Manado City is the harbor. Many people from the surrounding island came to Manado City. They are still one culture, like Talaud Island, Sangihe Island, and Siau Island. They came to work, trading or doing business stuff, study, even only for vacation. That picture is a ship sailing to Tahuna, Sangihe Island. It takes about 10 hours trip, so you just need rest entire night. The ticket price is Rp 150,000 (The Cheapest) and you will get a hard-small bed like a military bed in the ship. Usually, the ship always crowded with people who want to back home, so they bring a lot of boxes stuff.

The harbor located in the bottom of the iconic bridge in Manado, Soekarno Bridge. As you seen in the picture, the glowing blue bridge is our iconic bridge. So, it is always a nice view in the night watching the ship sailing trough the bridge.
